Ms Sarah Cornette

Creativity. Courage. Caring.
Sarah Cornette has been teaching art to children and adults in a variety of contexts since 1996, and is currently the full-time art teacher at Scroggs Elementary. She has a Master's degree in Art Therapy, and two undergraduate degrees in studio art and writing, and art education. Her work flows from the precept that art is a visual language and a human right, much like an oral or written language. Everyone can learn to express themselves using art, and creative problem-solving skills are vital to our communities and our planet. Her camps are full of energy and fun!
Ms. Cornette lives along the Haw River west of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, along with her family and a host of farm animals.
Sarah's Camp Motivation
