Justin is currently a North Carolina public school teacher with over 15 years teaching experience. The first 10 years were in Connecticut where he was teaching Health and Physical Education to students in grades K-8th. He also served in the role of Inter-scholastics Athletic Coordinator and Coach of many sports including Track and Field, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball and Unified Sports. As a youth sports coach Justin has been involved at every level and age group. He believes all children can learn to enjoy physical activities that promote life-long health and wellness. Through a “personal best" approach, Justin creates an environment where campers try new and challenging activities without fearing failure. His goal is that campers can become passionate about new exciting activities contributing to behaviors for a lifetime of fitness and enjoyment. The Creative Camps provide a unique opportunity allowing campers to feel more confident and competent in their skills and abilities leading to enjoyable experiences with physical activity.

Justin's Camp Motivation

Creative Camps is another way for Justin to have a positive impact on students here in our community. He thrives on watching children grow and develop and it is no secret that he is passionate about his profession. The chance to get kids moving and enjoying activities during the summer serves as another way for them to develop a value for the importance of staying active year round. Through programs like this one, Justin can ensure that these kids will be active advocates for their own health and wellness in the future.
